I have owned a janome 6260 for about 4 years and I love it. It has lots of features including needle up/down feature and needle placement for precision sewing and also has a needle threader. It is easy to use and has a good mix of stitches including decorative stitches and 6 different buttonholes. It sews well from very fine fabric to heavy denim. It also has a free arm. Excellent mid range sewing machine.

What a machine! Excellent,
I have owned this machine for over 6 years and the only thing that might give it away is the slight discoloration of the plastic hard cover. What a machine! I have sewn everything from organza and lace to leather, several layers of leather in fact. All I do is change the needle and stitch to suit the fabric; and off we go. My machine has never let me down and I have been very demanding. I sometimes consider an upgrade, but if I did it would have to be another Janome and I would still keep this one!
